Warwick Story Share #8 - presented by We the People Warwick
Life is full of stories of love, loss, struggle, adventure, resilience and just our common humanity.
Members of We the People Warwick (WTPW) have recognized the extraordinary power that personal stories have in connecting, engaging, inspiring, and healing us. Since the beginning of humankind, stories have been the essential building blocks of empathy, human connection, and community. That is why WTPW members are working hard to call forth the stories of struggle, joy, resilience, and just basic humanness that exist in the members of our own community.
Come hear the power of 5-minute stories told by your friends and neighbors.

Sustainable Warwick Annual No-Waste Potluck Picnic
It's time once again for Sustainable Warwick’s annual Zero-Waste Picnic! It's a great chance to meet with old friends, talk in-person to those familiar faces from Zoom meetings, and to meet new folks who are curious about what we are doing at Sustainable Warwick.
This time we will be congregating at:
Fence Road Farm Brewery
10 Fence Rd, Warwick
This is Dan Doyle’s farm, just off of Union Corners Rd—not far from the Town Park. Dan will be giving us a mini tour of his impressive new establishment, the hydroponic freight farms, the field of hops grown for their own brew, and of course our ever-increasing compost piles that Dan and his crew have maintained for SW since the beginning of our own food scrapping adventure!
Wednesday, August 20th
6:00 to 8:00PM
There will be lots to see, including the beautiful vistas to enjoy from where we will be gathered.
What's a Zero-Waste Picnic? We are "walking the walk" by encouraging everyone to bring their own place settings (plate, knife, fork, spoon, napkin, cup) and taking them back home after the picnic... leaving no trash for the barrel and less waste for the landfill!
This is a potluck gathering, so please bring a dish to share (appetizer, main dish, salad, desert... whatever pleases you!) and be sure to also bring a beverage.
All are welcome!
